The Location
This apartment is in a great location on Street 110, between Phsar Chas (Old Market) and 19th Street. Anything you could possibly want can be found within stepping distance, be it from Phsar Chas itself, or the myriad of other specialty shops—all crammed together amid the unfiltered sights, sounds and smells of what is the slowly disappearing old-world Phnom Penh. Go a block further and you are into the hustle and bustle of the Riverside’s restaurants, shops, hangout spots, and of course, the ever hands-changing-too-numerous-to-survive hostess bars.
The immediate area around the apartment itself however is generally quiet and sleepy after night falls. —That is of course, unless the Bloody Irish are celebrating!! While I am only joking about the Irish …having anything to celebrate… the ever popular Irish Place Bar and Bistro is one of our good neighbours!

The Apartment
The apartment is spacious and airy with decent natural light. A defunct elevator shaft divides the floor-plan layout while doubling as a large skylight. At one end is the kitchen, bathroom and shower, at the other the bedroom, lounge and balcony. The bedroom opens into the living room space which in turn opens onto the large private balcony. The balcony overlooks the surrounding rooftops and is screaming out for someone with a green thumb and/or a BBQ fan. With a little attention it would make the perfect spot to unwind, cool off and watch the sun go down. The building itself is secure – even more so after you get to know the local policemen that drink coffee downstairs every morning. Mighty neighbourly.
