A 28-year-old construction worker was seriously injured on Saturday after his co-worker hacked him with a cleaver over gambling payments in Phnom Penh’s Sen Sok district. Police said that after a card game the suspect owed the victim about 5,000 riel ($1.25). He was furious and punched the victim a few times. On Saturday, the suspect hacked the victim three times on his arm with a cleaver. The victim was critically injured and hospitalised and police arrested the suspect.
